Personal Information Protection Policy
CAL Enterprise Co., Ltd.("CAL") understands that protecting personal information is one of the company's most important social responsibilities. CAL has therefore established the following Personal Information Protection Policy and is committed to executing compliance with this policy.
(1)Method Used to Obtain Personal Information
CAL will use appropriate and fair methods to obtain personal information from written documents, digital media, websites, and other sources, either directly or indirectly, and will only obtain personal information within the scope required for the purpose of us.
(2)Purpose of Use
CAL will only use personal information for the following purposes and within the scope required for these purposes.
- To provide information on new products and services, and to introduce sales campaigns, exhibitions,seminars,prizes,and other such events.
- To request cooperation in questionnaire surveys for the purpose of providing after sales services and planning
- To provide answers to requests and inquiries.
- Within the scope of use prescribed by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other relevant laws and regulations.
Personal Information may also be used for statistical purposes, in such a way that it will not be possible to identify the individual from whom the information was obtained.
(3)Sharing of Personal Information
The personal information of CAL customers may be shared with members of the CAL Group, within the scope of use described in (2)Purpose of Use above, to enable CAL to provide integrated services. In this case, the information to be shared will customer's name, contact information (postal code, address, telephone number, e-mail address,etc.), product purchase history, product repair history, inquiry details, and request details or preferences. All shared personal information will be managed by CAL.
(4)Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
CAL will not provide personal information to third parities without the consent of person to whom the information belongs, except for the purposes of sharing information with members of the CAL Group or providing information to a contractor when outsourcing work. However, this dose not apply to cases in which the provision of personal information is required by law, is required to save a person's life or protect their assets, or is requested by the police, courts, or other public institution.
CAL may also outsource the handling of information to a member of CAL Group or an external contractor. When outsourcing the handling of personal information to an external contractor, CAL will ensure that the personal information of CAL customers is protected by selecting contractors who will handle the personal information properly and appropriately and establishing rules that contractor must comply with so as to implement proper information management.
(5)Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information
CAL will comply in a timely manner with requests from the individual concerned to disclose, correct, or delete their personal information.
(6)Contact for Requesting Disclosure, etc., of Personal Information
Customers wishing to request disclosure, or deletion of personal data held by CAL should contact the CAL Support Center using one of the means described below.

For requests from the individual concerned, it will be necessary to provide proof of identify in the form of a driver's license, passport, health insurance card, or official seal certificate. CAL may also call back the inquirer at their registered telephone number . For requests from proxies, it will be necessary to provide proof of proxy status by means of a letter of proxy and an official seal certificate for the seal used on the letter of proxy.
(7)Appropriate Management of Personal Information
- Cal will establish a management system and appropriate security measures to properly and securely manage personal information in order to prevent its unauthorized access, loss, falsification, nor leakage.
- CAL will take steps to educate all executives, employees, and related staff on proper handling of personal information.
- CAL will comply with all laws, ordinances, and regulations concerning personal information and will establish an internal system and set of rules and regulations to manage personal information based on this policy, whose contents will be revised and updated on a continual basis.
